Unity of opposites – facets of reality presents a metaphysical exploration of space through geometries, syntheses and alternations of formal and backdrop contrasts. The project is built around a philosophy of the whole, like a Ying and Yang in which geometry becomes a tool for developing multiple realities with direct reference to dichotomous perception and the process of transforming it into a new paradigm.
The artistic approach of Valentin Marian Ionescu is based on antithesis research that figures metaphors and reassemble shapes and representations of the whole as a schematization of the universal reality, of the space built and deconstructed to infinity through reflections and mirrors.
